We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), any DISCOM, or any central or state government body. The official portal for the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is pmsuryaghar.gov.in, and PM-KUSUM applications run through official state nodal agencies. Government applications are free of charge; we never charge a fee for submitting one.

We do not install, manufacture, or sell solar systems or components. Our role is advisory and buyer-side: subsidy guidance, system-sizing analysis, installer vetting and quote comparison, and process management. Any installation is contracted directly between you and the installer you choose; that installer — not Solar Subsidy India — is responsible for the installation’s workmanship, safety, and warranties.

We describe subsidy schemes (for example PM Surya Ghar CFA slabs, PM-KUSUM component structures, and state-level incentives), application processes, and typical timelines. These descriptions are explanatory only. We do not guarantee that any application will be approved, that any particular amount will be disbursed, or that any process will complete within any timeframe. Eligibility, amounts, approvals, net-metering terms, and disbursements are determined solely by the relevant authorities — MNRE, your DISCOM, and the applicable central and state agencies — on their own criteria.

Subsidy rates, scheme rules, portal procedures, net-metering regulations, and electricity tariffs change frequently. Figures on this site (such as CFA slab amounts, indicative system costs, generation estimates, and payback ranges) are stated as current at the time of writing and flagged with caveats where they are especially perishable. Always verify the current position against the official source — pmsuryaghar.gov.in, pmkusum.mnre.gov.in, your DISCOM, or the relevant state agency — before acting. Where this site and an official source disagree, the official source prevails. We do not warrant that any content here is current, complete, or error-free.
